The final project for this course is a 10-12 minute public presentation of a 10-15 page slide deck on a topic of your choice. The slide deck and presentation should correspond to the topic you submitted in for the proposal and annotated bibliography assignment.

This project was completed individually through research and design development. Instructor feedback was utilized during the design process to help develop direction‚ to improve the narrative‚ and to achieve overall visual cohesion in the final product․

Process:
First I made a proposal on my topic: Reimagining African Identity: Afrofuturism in Black Panther’s Fashion, I researched about Afrofuturism first to get the grasp on the topic. Then doing individual research on Black Panthers fashion itself.

I made the presentation in Canva‚ applying the same color scheme and layout consistently․

Outcome:
This project helped me understand how costume plays an important role in the way stories are told and the way cultures express themselves․ I learned about how Afrofuturism uses fashion and design to imagine the future while embracing African identity and heritage․
